Studio
The Tea House Collective is a 501(C)(3) non profit focused on coupling housing security, artstry, and mentorship. Our studio space is offered at three different levels: Artist in Residence, Private Studio, and Communal Studio.
Our Artist in Residence targets artists of any medium demonstrating housing insecurity who would benefit from having a space to live and also a space to work on their craft.
Our Private Studio and Communal Studio space targets independent artists looking for a private quiet space to work with storage.
We create art residencies both domestically and internationally for Black and Brown artists. We have partnerships with painters, ceramicists, sculptors, and are broadening our reach consistently.
We are seeking Black and Brown artists of any gender who understands and supports collective work and responsibility to maintain duties surrounding cleanliness and communal living in all common areas.
Artist in Residence
Monthly payments range from $650-$850 and includes:
Private room, shared bathroom (with 1 other person), kitchen space, sunroom access, a backyard, a front porch, private studio space, and fully furnished common areas.

Private Studio
Price:
$75-$150 Monthly. All payments to be completed via cashapp, venmo, paypal or zelle.
Hours:
Studio access is 24/7 with strict quiet hours after 11p.
Please keep in mind the Tea House hosts events where public spaces and equipment may be unavailable.

Space
You will be assigned a personal 8'x7' studio and storage space 4'x2'x7. This is where you will store your tools and work. You are welcome to use public work spaces and equipment but ensure all of your belongings are returned to your private space.
Equipment
There will be a tabletop wheel and ceramic materials for community use at first come, first serve. As well as a small kiln where we can fire your clay and/or metal pieces. Kiln fee based on size and urgency.

Communal Studio
Price:
$30- $65 Monthly. All payments to be completed via cashapp, venmo, paypal or zelle.
Hours:
Studio access is 10a-10p.
Please keep in mind the Tea House hosts events where public spaces and equipment may be unavailable.
